Duties
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Load and unload bottled water products, ensuring proper handling and heavy lifting techniques to prevent injury
- Deliver bottled water orders accurately and on time, maintaining organized routes for maximum efficiency
- Engage with customers professionally, answering questions, providing product information, and upselling additional items when appropriate
- Maintain accurate delivery records, route logs, and inventory documentation to ensure seamless operations
- Assist with merchandising efforts at customer locations by organizing displays and ensuring product visibility
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate deliveries, report issues, and optimize routes
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial driving or route delivery is highly preferred, but willing to train right candidate ; a clean driving record is essential
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse situations
- Basic math skills for pricing calculations, inventory management, and sales transactions
- Knowledge of sales techniques including upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue
- Organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical ability for heavy lifting, repetitive movement, and extended periods of driving or standing
- Experience involving logistics or transportation is a plus, demonstrating discipline and operational expertise
